This one-hour prevention training program provides basic information for adults on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child maltreatment, especially physical abuse.
Delivered onsite by a Lead Developer with PowerPoint and guided discussions.
Sexual Abuse Prevention Training Program
Stewards of Children®
Stewards of Children is a two-hour, nationally recognized training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Delivered onsite by a Certified Champions Facilitator with a DVD professional presentation, participant workbooks and guided discussion.

Stewards of Children® is an evidence-informed prevention solution that increases knowledge, improves attitudes, and changes child protective behaviors. This training program offers practical prevention training with a conversational, real-world approach.
It is professionally constructed and uses real stories with real people and experts. Five steps for protecting children are taught and reinforced by trained Facilitators.
The training program is a 2-hour training with interactive workbooks given to every participant. The training is lead by a certified, well-trained Facilitator and utilizes an outstanding DVD and audio presentation.
Champions For Children: Prevent Child Abuse Hampton Roads Facilitators come onsite to train groups of adults who care for children in the Hampton Roads region. $10 per participant is required to pay for the cost of the participant workbooks.

Speak Up – Be Heard! Introductory Advocacy Training
The two-hour training on legislative advocacy is great for college students and interested citizens

This is a two-hour, discussion-centered training opportunity, which is CEU credit-approved.
